There's a War going on outside...

Song lyrics...sure. True shit though. Having booty meat music, reality television, violent/soft core porn movies, nintendo wii's, $200 jays, and other opiates for the masses, people are often distracted from real shit thats going on. The war on Terror has subsided so much The only thing iv'e heard about Bin Laden is the comparison of his name to our first black President's. War has been ongoing in Iraq and Israel for centuries. Fighting over religion and land. Well over the past couple of weeks The Gaza Strip has been furiously bombed killing hundreds if not thousands. What I find interesting is the timing of Israel's attacks. Bush is getting ready to leave office and who knows what ever happened with our war? Well I would just like to figure out what is really going on. Jews own most if not all the banks in our country. The Federal Reserve system is neither Federal nor reserve. And how can top officials at the collapsed financial institutions go on million dollar retreats with coworkers days after the largest stock dip next to the great depression?? When Iraq decides to attack not only Israel but their allies (US), where will we be? will there be fair warning?

Swaggerless swag

First things first shout outs to Charles Hamilton for a dope song and concept. I cant tell you when my peers first realized i was "cool". I cant even really describe "cool", or the resurfaced term "Swag". I really don't even know if my peers even consider me "cool" or drenched with swag. Can swag be having a closet full of name brand garments and overpriced shoes? Maybe its fucking the baddest chick? maybe its being that guy that everyone is afraid of. Honestly I don't think Swag can be defined in any contemporary fashion. "Swag" is strictly not giving a flying fuck if people approve of you. I heard that the coolest people are those who don't try to be cool. Those who try so hard to be "tight", "cool", "swaggerfull", what have you, often lose sight of what's most important; self. It is not material that make people cool; people make cool. more importantly the company you keep have their own definition of cool. If u stay true to yourself and are not strayed by the reaction of others, you will always be cool to yourself. don't try to have swag, be swag. Have people striving to be like you as you slowly separate yourself from the crowd.

So what better way to start a post then by sharing some random thoughts that have been going through my mind lately... I have not listened to the radio nor watched music videos on T.V in like 9 months. like a pregnancy. Reason being, this rap shit is like a soap opera. The more you talk about these people (who more than 75% of the time are just making words rhyme and not actually detailing their lives) the more money their making. why? because people subconsciously idolize these blacks that are making money. don't get me wrong, my favorite rappers spit the most common and blasphemous of lyrics. but id b dammed if i try to look up to them in the sense of "he said he did that...im tryna b like him". Don't get caught up in the hype! So and So got their chain snatched," but i heard super head sucked him off " " flavor flav got hit by a car"etc. etc. et fucking cetera.

 I think in this new year people should pay more attention to how celebrities are more irresponsible and careless then the average tax paying citizen. Why glorify the shit people rapping bout( with exception to a few). We need new black leaders because our rest haven is not Obama. He's the first Black President and all that.. but he's still the president of the whole United states not just Black America.
